In 1985 W.A.S.P are one of the hottest bands in the world after releasing their magnificent debut. The Last Command is the perfect second effort for Blackie & co. The songs sound more mature, the production is cleaner and actually this record is the mold for the following two albums until The Crimson Idol. The great guitar melody of Wild Child opens the album. Maybe this introduction is the most memorable guitar melody written by the band. Wild Child is my absolutely favorite W.A.S.P song, a epic anthem with great vocals and guitars. According to me Blackie is one of the most underrated singers in metal music. Then we have some classic metal tracks like Ballcrusher, Fistful Of Diamonds, Jack Action and Blind In Texas. One of the highlights is the slower Widowmaker. Cries In The Night is another great ballad by Blackie. Overall this is another classic metal masterpiece by W.A.S.P and diserves 5 stars.
