The second album by the Tony "Demolition Man" Dolan-fronted incarnation of Venom is a somewhat forgettable affair, kicking off as it does with the lightweight rockabilly-metal piece Tribes and not really ever getting up to speed following that. There seems to have been an attempt to replicate the format of Prime Evil here, right down to the inclusion of a cover song from a classic early 1970s metal band (in this case, Deep Purple), and this rather formulaic approach results in a somewhat formulaic album. If you really, really enjoyed Prime Evil it might be worth a listen, but I suspect it won't eclipse its predecessor in many peoples' estimation.
