UMUR "The Infinite Mirror of Millennial Narcissism" is the debut full-length studio album by UK grindcore/death metal act Born to Murder the World. The album was released through Extrinsic Recordings in August 2018. Born to Murder the World is a project formed by Shane Embury (Napalm Death...etc., Mick Kenney (Anaal Nathrakh), and Duncan Wilkins (Fukpig...etc.).

While "The Infinite Mirror of Millennial Narcissism" is labelled a full-length album release, it only features 12 tracks and a total playing time of 15:32 minutes, so you don´t get much quantity for the money, but the band´s combination of grindcore and death metal is strong and powerful enough to entertain and pummel the listener through the whole release. The tracks are short bursts of aggressive energy, and it´s interesting to hear something which often sounds like Napalm Death and Anaal Nathrakh (without the epic clean sections) playing in the same room together (which they basically do). The album feels like one long composition as all tracks seque into each other and as a result the short playing time actually isn´t something you notice. When the album is over you´ll feel completely exhausted and not wishing for more (in a good way). Featuring a harsh, clear, and well sounding production job "The Infinite Mirror of Millennial Narcissism" is in all departments a quality release and a 3.5 star (70%) rating is deserved.
