'Up For Anything' is clearly a step up from the debut. Unlike the first album that's clogged with fillers, WHEELS OF FIRE tuned up their game and created some massive melodic gems such as 'Follow Your Heart', 'Don't Walk Away', 'Pain', or the touching ballad, 'Tell Me'. Nothing's really new offered here but good party time at the height of the 80s. Even though consistency is a good point they brought up, I didn't see any song that's worth of 9 or over. Everything was bounced around 7 to 8.5 but luckily, most of the songs were in the upper 8 territory.

Some other goodies I dig here are the groovy 'Lay Your Body Down', the uptempo 'Come Back Home' and 'Nothing To Lose', and also the great piano ballad closer, 'Everytime'. The production is great and I guess it's better than the last one. All in all, this is recommended if you like classic melodic rock style, and please don't really mind the accent, they're Italian and once you get past that small thing, I bet you'll enjoy this one.
