Genre: old school doom metal with stoner tendencies

This is a compilation album which collects tracks from Pentagram's first couple of albums (thus spanning a period of almost ten years). Unfortunately, it is not marketed as a compilations, and it looks suspiciously much like an ordinary album, but do not let it fool you - it is a 'greatest hits' of sorts.

That being said, I think it is actually a quite good compilation, and it contains a lot of really good Pentagram tracks and is as such a good representative of Pentagram's brand of stoner doom rock/metal.

And I think this is a very good entry point into the universe of Pentagram for the uninitiated, who are interested in a sample of what this band sounds lie, but not ready to go out an purchase the entire discography.
