Formed in Indiana, Sweet F.A wasn't very well known among the other bands that came out in the 90s. Often they were regarded as an average forgettable hair metal band but to me, Sweet F.A is amusingly different, and their music cleverly combined the raw sleaze, southern blues, and poppish melodic at the same time. They deserved a higher place through the high quality output of this album.

The two starting tracks, "Prince of The City" and "Nothin' For Nothin", are wonderful party igniters, with big punchy chorus and thrilling solos. Many songs were squeezed with blues-influenced and southern rock composition such as "Rhythm of Action", "Do A Little Drivin", or "Southern Comfort".

Talking about commercial songs, don't miss the midtempo rock sugar "Stick To Your Guns" and the power ballad, "Heart of Gold" which has a slight feel of Led Zeppelin's "Thank You". I recommend this record to all fans of hair metal with a bit of southern rock touch, this is the proof that Indiana boyz can rock!
