One of the highlights of this year for the melodic metal style comes from FRONTIERS RECORDS,with a new sensational project called KISKE SOMERVILLE!Well,before expressing my admiration for this superbe album,I want to tell that this is something magical,and the idea of this wonderful duo is the fruit of SERAFINO PERUGINO-the boss of the Italian label,which knows perfectly well to use the tremendeous talent of MICHAEL KISKE-one of the best voices in rock!AMANDA SOMERVILLE is not only a hot babe,but she has a superbe voice,emotional,sensitive and powerful in the same time!This album is made by pros and the line up is more than impressive-so the final result is senstional!The expectations were big,but the final resuny won't dissapoint any KISKE fan or melodic fan either!In my humble opinion,I think that Kiske never sounded better and this type of music is putting in evidence at maximum his huge talent!The album is diverse and catchy,some memorebla moments indeed-a touch of symphonic sometimes and clever use of modern technology!The guitar wizzardry is provided bu no one other than MAGNUS KARLSSON-the mastermind behind the ALLEN LANDE PROJECT,STARBREAKER,LAST TRIBE and many other projects-a fablous composer and guitar magician!The production is perfect and the melodic sense of the compositions is amazingly well done for two remarcable voices in today's music!Another success for FRONTIERS and defnitelly one major melodic metal album for 2010!4.5 strong stars for a beautiful and rich in emotions album!
