I should admit that Sodom is a band that I overlooked: I own only two CDs of this extraordinary band. Unfortunately, this also happens in my messy world of music. I know it is a musical version of Sodom at twice the speed of Motorhead and interesting lyrics, often deeper than what the iconography of the band would suggest. Also I have never given that with Kreator and Destruction they are among the inventors of the German Thrash. Often they are associated with Black Metal, although I notice some similarities in Sodom only with Venom.

"Get What You Deserve" is a good example of how Venom and Motorhead when mixed with certain extreme Metal can give birth to a technical and very engaging, with unmatched power. Unfortunately, at the same time, "Get What You Deserve" is an album that can not print in mind, flowing like a river in flood which transmits only destruction.

Certainly "Get What You Deserve" is not an album to listen if depressed or in a car. Personally I must manage to be inspired to listen to it. And I do not know if this is really good...
