Warthur
Rough, raw old school black metal mostly in the second wave Norwegian style with first wave influences, recorded to a decent standard by this yet another one-man act. Not incompetent, but nothing which followers of the genre haven't heard over and over again. You can probably guess what this sounds like based on the cover, which has the same "lone guy in corpsepaint posing in monochrome darkness" aesthetic popularised by Darkthrone's early black metal trilogy or Mayhem's Live In Leipzig, and your guess probably isn't far off from what's here. If you are a major fan of the genre, you'll likely enjoy it, but you've probably heard masses of similar stuff.
