...and here we are with the third part of the GENIUS saga,closing the chapter in big style with the last monument of musical wizardry-THE FINAL SURPRISE!The real surprise is that the GENIUS character is performed my the fantastic DC COOPER...replacing MARK BOALS for this episode..and DC is making a sensational team with DANIEL GILDENLOW and JORN LANDE!!!WOW!!!Amazing line up...truly fantastic vocalists here -cream of the cream!Plus ,the extremely talented TOBY HITCHCOOK from PRIDE OF LIONS and the golden boy of rock ERIC MARTIN,this unbelieveble line up is perfect!With the best sound ever and the most inspired compositions ,this final chapter has many moments of pure genius,with breathtaking symphonic parts and great power metal tracks with many prog metal elements!LIVERANI is on top of his inspiration.the keyboard part are simply brilliant and the arrangements are close to perfection!Great guitar solos too and Mr Ciccioni is delivering some of the most impressive drumming parts ever played by this so talented Italian musician!SAVE ME FROM MY DESTINY is one of the best tracks of the trilogy and ANDREA is playing with so much passion on this track,which is a pure jewel!All the compositions are so well structured and each song is putting in evidence the immense talent of all the marvelous vocalists invited in the project!This final chapter of GENUS has also a very impressive cover-trully ramarcable and inspired!GENIUS will remain in the history of modern music like one of the most complete and complex rock operas,which takes classical elements of a rock opera but in combination with actual ingredients-an impressive sound,an intelligent mix of technical wizardries ,amazing musicianship and high quality compositions!A musical triumph -a milestone album in prog metal music and something that will mark forever the prodigal career of DANIELE LIVERANI- a true GENIUS!5 STARS for something close to perfection!
