Originally released back in 2003, "Cerebus" has recently been rereleased on Hell's Headbangers records with two bonus tracks.

Stylistically, the two original songs on this release fall under the genre heading of thrash metal with elements of extreme metal. Thus, 'Mother.Cunt.Whore' is an aggressive Slayer-esque thrasher which features some blastbeats and even a more crossover-hardcoreish bridge. 'Cerebus' feature some more old school death metal-style riffage and some heavier passages.

I think that both tracks are pretty good, but not among the best material by Nunslaugter. Especially, 'Mother.Cunt.Whore' is an enjoyable thrasher with a lot of aggressive energy.

The production is a bit fuzzy and, at times, the drums almost drown in the mix. I do like the slightly Slayer-oriented sound of the guitars. The two bonus tracks, which are demo versions of 'Mother.Cunt.Whore' and 'Cerebus' are of poor production, but they are, of course, also demo tracks. Collectors and hardcore fans should find the inclusion of these two tracks particularly attractive.

Fans of dirty thrash metal and collectors of extreme metal releases should definitely consider purchasing a copy of this release.
