The fresh hard rock duet of Wallner and Vain might not bring any new ingredients to the table but the combination of Vain's nasal vocal with Wallner's lightning pick were like made for each other and synchronized perfectly, creating a comfortable listening atmosphere for the genre fans. I didn't expect that Vain is Croatian because from the way she sings, you might even think she's Japanese. Wallner's extra-ordinary guitar playing was kickin' every edge of the songs here, he's a truly accomplished axeman.

After the instrumental intro, 'Dreamstealer' starts raging wildly and the chorus is awesome. 'Streets of Rage' focused on the furious riffs and both are a nice start of the album. However, 'Fourteen Twenty Eight' is a weak filler, which they can't afford having one considering that it's only a short album. The next two tracks are pretty good but 'Soul Monster' steals the show for me. This is clearly the best tune and the solo is just spectacular. 'Indestructible' somehow reminds me of DYNAZTY's 'Brand New Day', the riffs are heavy and splendid, but the whole song isn't as great as 'Soul Monster'.

The production is good and overall I guess this duet has prospective career ahead, as long as they're building up their songwriting skill slowly, I bet by third or fourth album, they can release a legacy to be remembered. This one is a good hard rock album with predictable flaws for an indie debut.
