Stephen
This has nothing to do with any wrestling thing and don't get confused with another TNA under Kivel Records. This is a pure bad-ass sleaze metal madness from Memphis, Tennessee with a southern tinge. Citing Kiss, Aerosmith, and Judas Priest as their main influences, TNA emerged with the sound very close to them, and add Motley Crue and Tora Tora to the mix as well and you'll get the pretty picture of what's behind and inside this band.

All songs were recorded in 1989-1990, not too late for them but will be much better if they managed to release this in the dawn of 1989 so at least they still have 2-3 years to pump up their reputation because this is such a high quality album, hoarded with many adrenaline kicker songs. "All Nite Long" explodes with an AC/DC hooks, a brilliant opener and love this on the first spin instantly. "Dirty Love" has that naughty southern riffs, also another winner. "Hard Way" is the heaviest track here, the riffs are tense, the verse and chorus combination are lethal, what a superb song!

"Don't Fade Away" and "It's Over" are mandatory ballads, both are excellent tunes and very well crafted. I must admit the second half is better as they greet you with "Just Another Day", reminds me of Ugly Kid Joe's mischievous style, "Take A Walk" shows Jefrey Harr's energetic rappin', his voice is somehow sounds like Jeff Keith-meets-Spike kinda thing. "It Don't Come Easy" and "You Cried Wolf" are also another monstrous tracks on this side.

If you like the heavy edge of Motley Crue, the raw and original R&R licks of Aerosmith, and the southern sleaze pie of Tora Tora, TNA is totally mind blowing and a great mix of those three, probably one of the best band Eonian ever signed. Production is as always, acceptable for old demos like this. A splendid effort by the band and just can't believe they didn't make it to the major label, an essential buy!
