Specialists/collaborators reviews

Two legendary AOR voices, one self-titled project - definitely sounds very Frontiers and it's hard to say no especially if you're into TOTO and SURVIVOR, but of course the result of this collaboration isn't exactly the copycat of both bands, but instead you can hear the European melodic rock that's smartly blended with classic hooks of American AOR.

The very first track, 'Worth Fighting For', reminds me a lot to WORK OF ART style and I think it's a perfect opener and also a flawless song. The other tremendous song in the second half that's as strong as this song is 'I Did Everything Wrong'. Another gems here are 'Can't Wait For Love', the ballad 'Find Another Way', midtempo jewel 'Shadow of Love', and the uptempo melodic rocker of 'Hearts Beat Again'.

The rest six tracks are pretty much enjoyable but honestly I found it's a bit patchy. 'Sail Away' for example, the verse is excellent but then the chorus seems weak. 'Chasing Euphoria' is fun but you've heard a lot of better songs. 'Kicking and Screaming' is a shame because it pillaged BON JOVI's 'Born To Be My Baby' in the beginning, but all in all, this is still a good track. 'Your Photograph' is definitely a filler ballad.

The production is satisfying and probably only one single filler, I think this project is worth around 80% at least. Hopefully there'll be a follow-up and even better songs!
