This Italian glam act really keep on surprising me on each spin, it just gets better and better. No new element introduced, yup nothing, it's just purely having fun for old time sake, the fun that many classic bands that enjoyed the height of glam movement had forgotten. My advice on maximizing your trip down to memory lane is to swallow up Jack Daniels, turn that volume up loud, and set up your air guitar stance to emulate Picco's licks, and you're ready to let the games begin.

The door-opener, 'Never Turn My Back' is probably one of my most fave tracks here. The energy they poured on this song is limitless and that deadly melodic chorus you can sing for days is addictive. 'Rock Down This Place' reminds me on how the late Jani Lane sung his heart out on the classic 'Cherry Pie'. 'On The Road' is in Danger Danger style, another brilliant uptempo melodic rock tune. 'Another Saturday Night' is also in the same vein, a superb party anthem, pretty simple but fun, that's the essential point of this disc.

Some sleazy part of the band were obvious in songs like 'Natural Born Rockers' and 'No Appreciation', the riffs are somewhat similar to Skid Row or L.A.Guns. You can also notice that the band also adopt a slight modern approach in their arrangement, and this is necessary to adjust their sound to avoid the risk of being too vintage. 'Star' is a decent ballad, 'Daydream Boulevard' is a failed-attempt of a funk-driven hard rock tune, but 'Don't Throw In The Towel' successfully closed the album with style, a definitely powerful ending tune.

I didn't rate it high as this before, but Hell In The Club managed to build a grower and every time I crank this up really loud in my car, the good feeling always come sweeping in to bring me a very good mood for the day, and that's the strong reason this disc belongs in the upper 90% for me. One of the highlight of the year, lovin' it, and don't tell me you don't love the front sleeve, all those sins men are willing to commit are there.
