SILENT DEATH were a shortlived Swiss death metal act formed in the early nineties. The band released the "The Infinite Answer" demo in 1991. SILENT DEATH enlisted vocalist Brett Hoffmann, who had just left MALEVOLENT CREATION, to provide vocalst for the 1995 "Stone Cold" EP. That proved to be the last release from the band.
