Skeletonwitch is a Blackened Thrash Metal band formed in 2003. The band formed in Athens, Ohio by Nate Garnette (Guitar), Scott Hedrick (Guitar),Chance Garnette (Vocals), Evan Linger (Bass), Derick Nau (Drums).
They released their first full-length album "At One With The Shadows" in 2004 by Shredded Records. Which blended black metal with Thrash metal and elements of harsh death metal aswell, into their straight-forward dimenson music style.
The band then released a quick fiery demo in 2004 and then released an EP "Worship the Witch" in 2005, both of which were self-released due to the failed Shredded Records. This lead to alot of interest with fan and labels, with their new matured style.
They finally, ended up signing with Prosthetic Records and with them released "Beyond the Permafrost" in 2007. In 2009 "Breathing the Fire"
