The Whip was a sludge metal / heavy metal band from Olympia in Washington, active between 2002 and 2003.
The Whip was formed after the sludge band Karp disbanded. The band only managed one single release before drummer Scott Jernigan was killed in a boating accident and The Whip broke up.
