Spasm is a pornogrind band from Prerov, Czech Republic. Ther band formed in 2000 as a side project of the bands Psychopathia and Romantic Love. Psychopathia folded, which allowed Spasm to become a full time band.

The band started as four piece, but soon ditched their guitar player, and have famously not used a guitarist since, sticking to the simple but effective formula of bass, drums, and vocals.

After an abortive attempt at recording a demo in 2001, the band finally managed to release their debut album "Lust for Feculent Orgasm" in 2005.
