BASSINVADERS picture
Bassinvaders was a side project by Helloween bassist Markus Grosskopf, intending to create a metal album that used no guitars, only bass guitars. Joined by Peter "Peavy" Wagner (Rage), Schmier (Destruction) and Tom Angelripper (Sodom), along with a number of guests, primarily further bassists playing solos, the debut and only album produced by the project, Hellbassbeaters, was released in 2008. The music can be described as power/heavy/thrash metal.
