Adyta was a symphonic metal band from Norway, formed in 2008, originally as the solo vehicle of musician Joakim Severinsen (ex-Mortiferia). He released a demo, Rose of Melancholy, in 2009 with guest vocalist Melissa Ferlaak the only other contributor. Adyta then expanded into a full band.

A follow-up EP, Katarsis, was originally scheduled for release in 2011 but was pushed back and then held a "TBA 2013" release date. It was never released and Adyta came to an end in 2014. Joakim started a new project called Natteferd.
