STORK picture
stOrk is a progressive metal / djent band from Los Angeles in California, formed in 2010.

The band is the brainchild of guitarist Shane Gibson, otherwise known as Mr.stOrk, and drummer Thomas Lang. The two musicians have pretty impressive careres behind them. Gibson was once a guitarist for Korn and Jonathan Davis' solo project Jonathan Davis And The SFA. Lang, on the other hand, has had a prolific session drummer history playing with everyone from John Wetton, Robert Fripp, Glenn Hughes and Steve Hackett to Robbie Williams and Bonnie Tyler.

Shane Gibson is well known for his frequent soloing guitar arrangements, use of odd time signatures and poly-rhythms, which provides the technical base for stOrk, while Lang adds his well-established professionalism behind the drums mixed with a powerful dosage of double bass drumming. The line-up is rounded up by Eloy Palacios on bass.
