Oceano is an American deathcore band from Chicago in Illinois.
Formed in 2006, the band signed to Earache Records and released their debut album, Depths on 7th April 2009. The band's second album, Contagion was released on 9th November 2010.
In 2012, rumours surfaced that Oceano would be disbanding, but it was confirmed that the band was actually on a short hiatus and they released their third full-length album, Incisions, in 2013.
