Karma Depth is a progressive metal band from Lauwe in Belgium. Karma Depth started in 1998 when guitarist Lorenzo Petralia and vocalist Hans Berten (a former singer in a leading Belgian heavy metal band) decided to start a band with Hans Mahieu on drums. When keyboard man Dieter Cailliau was added to the line-up in 2001, their musical style emerged as progressive metal. Dream Theater was the common denominator for influences, and some Dream Theater covers were included within the band's set list. From 1999 onwards they decided to write their own music. Their debut album "Resilience" was released in April 2005.
