FUNERAL ORATION picture
Funeral Oration were a cult band from Italy, formed in 1989 playing a unique style of fast, symphonic black metal. The band featured Nick Curri who wrote for the cult magazine Flash back in the nineties, as well as Malfeitor Fabban from Aborym (and Void of Silence) on bass duties, some composition and lyrics. They released several demo's and their one album Sursum Luna in 1996, quite fast and blasting, a sort of mixture of Mystifier and Mortuary Drape!

Nick Curri wrote for italian metal magazine "Flash" in the early nineties, covering mostly death and black metal.
