Evil is a Slovakian black metal act. The project was formed in 2001 by Dlog and originally played ambient music, producing three non-official releases: the demo's Darkness and Total Black Night and a split, Omen / Hell in Forest. The project then switched to black metal. The band considers the first official demo to be Rehearsal 1 from 2007, though Dark and Blasphemic... from 2006 also exists.

Over time, other members apart from Dlog have been involved with the project. The debut studio album Legenda neskrotných živlov was released in 2013.
