ALKATRAZZ picture
Not to be confused with Alcatrazz, the band that featured Graham Bonnett on vocals, and a then unknown guitarist named Yngwie Malmsteen.

A band from Maidstone, Kent formed in 1980 with members Craig Stevens (vocals), Bob Jenner (guitar), Gary Bevan (bass) and Nick Parsons (drums)and disbanded in 1983.

They were signed by RCA amidst the New Wave of British Heavy Metal scouting craze, the quartet released 2 albums: 1981's Young Blood and 1982's Radio 5. However, they would enjoy some positive exposure while touring with Magnum and Tygers of Pan Tang, and even briefly featured onetime Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr.
