  You're missing out, Colin and Paul Patrick - "It also surprised me there was absolutely no stage banter" that was the same on Thursday. The lights dimmed after every song. Apparently it is deliberate to add to the theatrical vibe of the show (or so some pundit suggests). There was no encore either as such. Alice addressed the crowd for the first time at the end and asked whether we wanted one more song. And then broke into a cracking rendition of Schools Out, complete with audience participation and a segway into "Another Brick In The Wall". Awesome.

  For fans of heavy metal / hard rock, if you have the chance, try and get one of the remaining tickets for the Alice Cooper tour. Saw him / them in Manchester last night and the show was bloody amazing. More metallic than previously, courtesy in part of having three guitarists lead by the shredding goddess that is Nita Strauss. Great set-list too. The fella isn't getting any younger (76), so don't leave it too late .A nice surprise was the support, Primal Scream. Now that's how dance music should sound - loud guitar-driven rock'n'roll. Was really impressed by them. The third act, Essex punk duo The Meffs were worth a watch too if you can get to the venue on time.
