DARKWELL are an Austrian band who have released two studio albums and an EP over a five year period. This is their debut from 2000 and most feel this is their best recording by far. We get female vocals that are very good and the music is dark with fairly heavy guitar throughout. It does seem kind of samey but this was love at first listen for me. We get male spoken words at times and the lyrics are what you'd expect in this genre of music, in other words depressing, negative and dark. Hey if your into that Gothic style i would definetly recommend you check this one out. A fine debut.
