BEYOND TWILIGHT are from Denmark although on this release they brought in former OUTWORLD vocalist Kelly "Sundown" Carpenter from America. He's actually the reason i picked this cd up after being so impressed with his vocal performance on that OUTWORLD record. And yes he makes this record better by being on it. This is a concept album clocking in at a tidy 44 plus minutes. This is complex and the sound quality is pristine. Some good variety on this one including some beautiful piano passages but also some very heavy and intense passages. This is my favourite album from the band and it's a solid 4 stars.

Haha you have a good memory Jonas. I also prefer physical women to virtual women. I know that's just crazy talk but...anyway thanks Steve for the info.

Well...if I remember correctly John is a physical release man right? :-)

Thanks for the heads up, i don't mind paying 18 dollars. I'm in Canada by the way.

Where are you from? Amazon US has it for about $18 or Amazon UK for about £12 (more or less the same on current exchange rate). It's definitely worth owning, although $32 is about £20 which is way above reasonable for any CD.

The Darkology cd is expensive at 32 dollars from CD Universe. Is it worth it ? A loaded question i know but...or maybe it's available some place else ?

Beyond Twilight has made some amazing albums. I've even heard through the news on Facebook that Kelly and Finn Zierler are working together again, possibly the 4th album...!
I've also listened through Darkology's album once but it didn't seem to click with me. It's been a long while but I apparently experienced it lacking of emotions compared with BT and other particular prog metal music.

Yeah, and just when I thought they'd dropped off the face of the planet, like Beyond Twilight. :(

Indeed. And I just found out that at last they are planning a new album for next year.

I'll second Darkology John. "Altered Reflections" is a masterpiece for sure.

Brilliant release. Have you listened to Darkology? It's another band with Kelly Carpenter's vocals.
