STRIDE are an American Prog-Metal band who released three albums in the 00's and this was the last one from 2005.I know a few people who find their sound a little too AOR and maybe the vocals don't help in that department.I like the vocals and the sound because it reminds me of the eighties.ENCHANT did come to mind at times.This is very melodic Metal with a virtuoso guitarist.It can get quite heavy at times in fact ZERO HOUR came to mind on more than one occassion.Keyboards play an important role as well, at times providing background atmosphere and at other times taking the lead or filling out the sound. A low 4 stars and recommended to those who like their Metal melodic.
