Don't let it's September 11th 2001 release date be overshadowed by the unfortunate events that took place here in the States on that same day. I pulled this out the other day and have had in a regular rotation the last couple days and remembering how much I dig this album. Songs such as "Breaking Me Down" and "Halo" have evident commercial appeal, yet have a coarse grittiness that is refreshing compared to many well-oiled industry singles. Vocalist Ryan McCombs pipes exude some boisterous bellows, yet he is able to come full circle and deliver a clean sounding vocal chant on "Inside". Worth adding to your collection and turning your friends onto.
