I want to start my humble review with a short statement-JORN IS THE BEST METAL FRONTMAN AND VOCALIST IN TODAY'S MUSIC!This man is a living monument and a workoholic in metal and all his career is so far loaded with fantastic albums -from VAGABOND-THE SNAKES-ARK-MUNDANUS IMPERIUM-MILLENIUM-MASTERPLAN-ALLEN/LANDE PROJECT...all are FANTASTIC!!!!His solo career is brilliant too and he proves that God gave him a marvelous voice and fortunately he knows very well how to use it!JORN is definitely a metal monster and this latest solo album SPIRIT BLACK is an excellent album loaded with fantastic metal songs,powerful ballads and amazing midtempo songs!It's complete album and all JORN fans,but also all the good quality metal music will be delighted to hear a new metal offering with this sensational cd!Album after album this guy is building himself a great status and position in music,even being so prolific and inspired-all the albums he is releasing are TOP CLASS !!!Having this great vocal register-being almost similar with DAVID COVERDALE and the so regretted DIO-JORN has his own vocal personality and his vocal technique is improving album after album!From the componistic point of view,this album is the best so far,it's diverse,catchy,punchy and never boring!!!With albums like this one metal music proves that still has many beautiful years ahead and artists like JORN are deserving all pour respect and admiration!This guy really burns on the altar of metal!LONG LIVE THE DUKE AND GOD BLESS YOU,JORN!5 STARS for a sensational album!
