Six Seconds Kill is the debut full-length studio album by Danish death metal act Panzerchrist. The album was released by in 1996 by Serious Entertainment ( a now defunct Danish label started by prolific Danish musician/ producer Jacob Hansen). Six Seconds Kill is now out of print and is only available as part of the Himmelfartskommando (2008) compilation album released by Mighty Music.

The music on the album is death metal with growling vocals and generally good musicianship. The music is not the most original material I´ve ever heard, but the standard of the material is good. Most songs are mid- to fast paced. There are few songs that stand out from the rest but a song like Halls of Oblivion with its added keyboards stands out for being close to black metal. Actually I´m reminded of early Emperor when listening to that song albeit in a much slower pace. It´s on Six Seconds Kill that the band´s fascination with war and war machines ( especially tanks) are born and the lyrics on the album heavily reflect this.

The production by Jacob Hansen is good but nothing out of the ordinary.

Six Seconds Kill is a good quality death metal album, bit overall it´s pretty standard for the genre and 3 stars are warranted.
