This release is of course interesting because it is yet another obscure release in the most important movement in heavy metal history - namely, the New Wave of British heavy metal.

Clocking in at 9:15 minutes and containing only three tracks, this EP contains some pretty intense and compact hard rocking heavy metal music.

The title track "Over the Wall" is an uptempo heavy metal hardrocker along the lines of Judas Priest, albeit a bit more blues-inspired though. "Faceless Gang" is more of an AC/DC-inspired affair, which revolves around a catchy verse riff, but includes a more trite boogie-derived chorus. It's not a bad track though. "Runaway" reminds me a bit of Thin Lizzy with the use of twin leads and uptempo boogie-ish rhythm. Despite its unoriginality, it's a qite good track though.

This is one of the better releases of the NWoBHM movement, and I'd recommend it to fans of traditional heavy metal and hard rock as well as, in particular, NWoBHM aficionados.
