Grime is the 3rd full-length studio album by Danish death metal act Iniquity. There´s been a minor lineup change since the release of Five Across the Eyes (1999) as Brian Eriksen has been replaced by Kræn Meier ( Sacrificial) on guitar.

The music on Grime compared to the music on Five Across the Eyes hasn´t changed much though. It´s still rather technical US influenced brutal death metal that is the order of the day. The band is extremely well playing and we get some mean guttural growling to go with the brutal music. As with the predecessor I find the music a bit too one-dimensional in the end, but all songs are quality material for fans of the genre.

The production is professional and suits the music well.

While Grime doesn´t exactly make my blood boil fans of the more brutal part of death metal will probably enjoy it much more than I do. 3 stars are warranted.
