The loudest, noisiest, most aggressive, and most balls-to-the-wall rocking album of 1970. Capturing the power and intensity of the band's live performances masterfully, with saxophone included in the mix at strategic moments (just listen to what it adds to TV Eye!) and a closing track which sounds like the band freaked out and ran riot in the studio, this short but perfectly formed masterpiece takes deep, funky basslines, hot punk-metal guitar and the screaming, roaring, full fury of Iggy Pop in full raging wild-man mode and fuses them into one incredible experience. Just listen to Iggy bellowing "LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORD!!!!!!" at the start of TV Eye and tell me the hairs on the back of your neck don't stand on end.
