Nunslaughter and Abigail on the same release? This can only be good... and by good I mean fucking evil!

The two Nunslaughter tracks 'Back to Hell' and 'God' are very thrash oriented and actually pretty good, I must say. The no-nonsense aggressive style of thrash metal with just a hint of death-thrash just hits the spot if one is craving for high-energy music.

'Back to Hell' evolves around some relatively simple thrashy riffs that work the way they should, while the intro riff, which also serves as the bridge, is a heavier affair. 'God' is with its 59 seconds almost a microsong, and also features some compellingly simple and aggressive riffage, spiced up with anti-Christian lyrics.

The production on the two Nunslaughter tracks is, while not polished at all, actually considerably well-defined, which I appreciate. It still has a rawness and an edge to it, though - make no mistake about that.

Together Abigail and Nunslaughter give all things that are holy a slap right in the face in the form of the massively evil split that is "Fucking Satan".
