If you love that album cover, you may or may not love the music, which is saying absolutely nothing. However, if you loved him in Van Halen, then you will most likely love his solo work as well. It's David Lee Roth!

Don't let the rating of only 3.5 stars scare you away. This is a very good album, assuming that you have a love for all things music. Not every song on this album is what I would classify as Glam Metal (i.e. "I'm Easy" and "That's Life" to name a couple). There is a very bluesy feel to this album which Roth has taken from his days in VH, and all of the songs feature the groovy Steve Vai, who can hold his own against Eddie VH himself.

My favorite tracks here are in fact the ones that are Glam Metal in its purest form. They are as follows: "Yankee Rose", "Shyboy", "Tobacco Road", and "Elephant Gun."
