Another great album from Entombed sees them opening up the style of Left Hand Path just a little, resulting in a sound which is just a touch more accessible whilst still retaining all of the bite of the previous album. To my ears, it sounds like this time around the band stay in firmly death metal territory more, with less excursions into doom metal or prog metal than previously (and I didn't catch any horror movie soundtracks era), but at least it's top-shelf death metal which the band are able to lend plenty of life and verve to. If you enjoyed Left Hand Path, get this one, because it nicely complements its predecessor.

He he just got the vinyl back, so now I own it on both CD and vinyl Again :-) Just love this one...

It´s probably one of my favorite death metal albums. At one time I owned the album on both vinyl and CD at the same time.
