Trollmann av Ildtoppberg (translated: "The Warlock of Firetop Mountain", indicating the band members' love of Fighting Fantasy gamebooks) play ambient drone with a dungeon synth aesthetic. Imagine early Mortiis with an aesthetic derived more from the gamebooks and roleplaying games that the British duo of Belegur and Thundarr loved as opposed to the more idiosyncratic and personal fantasy vision of Mortiis, and then add the sonorous drone of buzzsaw guitar over everything, and you end up with something more or less in the same ballpark as Arcane Ruins Adorn the Ice-Veiled etc etc. Not the best example of this sort of thing, but if you have an affection for the source material that inspired their aesthetic it's a blast.
