SCHIZO picture
Schizo is an Italian thrash metal band from Catania, Sicily formed in 1984. The band asked Chuck Schuldiner of Death fame to join the band for the recording of Schizo's 1989 debut Main Frame Collapse, but Schuldiner refused due to intense activity with his own band. The band went on hiatus in 1999 and returned in 2005, with the album Cicatriz Black following two years later.

In September of 2007, founding member Alberto Penzin decided to leave the band due to personal and musical differences with the rest of the band. They released their fourth studio album, Rotten Spiral in 2016.
