RA picture
Ra is an alternative metal band from Los Angeles, California. They were formed in 1996, and were named after the Egyptian sun god with the same name.

They are known for their hit songs "Do You Call My Name", "Fallen Angels", "Don't Turn Away", and "Broken Hearted Soul". They are also known for containing exotic middle-eastern influences in their music, and makes them a little known-yet very experimental band in the metal music world.

The band has approximately sold 400,000 albums in North America alone. Their latest release is "The Ra Refix EP" in 2017.
