Prophets of Doom was a speed metal/heavy metal band formed in 1984 under the name Prophecy. They changed their name to Migaira before changing to Prophets of Doom in 1987. They released two demos and one studio album before changing their name again to Northern Empire.
Prophets of Doom consisted of Jacq Forest, Johnny Michael, Michael Bodin, and Torben Askholm. The latter two would later be a part of prog/power metal band Anubis Gate.
