Mawiza is a groove metal / metalcore band from Wallmapu near Santiago in Chile, formed in 2021.
Wallmapu is the sacred land of the Mapuche Nation and the band sings in the Mapuzungun language, mixing groove metal and metalcore with traditional Mapuche folk music.
Mawiza was previously known as Nunca Seremos Dichosos, formed in 2013.
