Stright out of the German underground, Intöxicated represent the rawer and more dirty, and politically incorrect, underworld of speed metal. Their debut album "Röck n Roll Hellpatröl" features everything your mother hates about the devil music that is heavy metal, from Satanic hymns over beer worship and glorification of violence to male chauvinist misogyny.

In other words, loads a tongue-in-cheek fun.

Musically, Intöxicated combine dirty speed metal with traditional heavy metal and some hard rock, but wrap it in a punky attitude and injecting a good healthy dose of Motörhead into the mix. The title track, for instance, is a straight up tribute to the dirty power and glory of Lemmy and company. The inspiration from traditional metal is ubiquitous but specifically prevalent in 'Lock Up Your Daughters' and 'Break Your Limits', while 'Suffering for Löve', 'Slutanic Speedmetal' and the aptly titled 'Metal Porno Slut' are fiercely fast speed metal tracks.

Extremely DIY, the album is characterized by a dirty production and an at times sloppy performance (especially the drums and the, at times, Lemmy-esque vocals). But that is part of the package that is Intöxicated, and if you don't like it, they'll kick you in the face with their cowboy shoes.

If you like raw and old school speed metal, then Intöxicated's hedonism-inspired politically incorrect debut album should right up your alley. Fans of Midnight, Motörhead, and Carnivore should definitely check it out.
