UMUR "Gettin' Drunk & Spreadin' Spunk" is the 2nd full-length studio album by Belgian death metal act Fungus Inc.. The album was released through Rotten To The Core Records in January 2012.

The band play very basic and rather simple death metal with a strong thrash metal influence. The music is simple and effective but doesn´t feature much that´ll surprise a seasoned death metal listener. The band´s strongest asset are actually the silly "over the top" songtitles and lyrical subjects (and their equally silly stage names). Besides the already provocative album title, then how about songtitles like "Gaybar", "2 in the Pink, 1 in the Stink" or "I Just Want a Blowjob". These guys are obviously out to have some primitive drunk/sex/gore humour fun. And that part of their music works well to some extent. The musical part of the album (instruments and vocals) are sligthly less entertaining because they are rather one-dimensional. The album is entertaining for a couple of tracks but soon becomes a bit dull because of lack of variation.

So overall "Gettin' Drunk & Spreadin' Spunk" is enjoyable but not that memorable. The actual music deserves a 2.5 star (50%) rating but I´ll add another half star to the final rating because of the entertaining primitive humour.
