ovidiu This album is one of the most amazing piece of true art and definitelly a forgotten musical pearl in the prog metal territory!I am so happy that WORLD OF SILENCE is mentioned here in METALMUSICARCHIVES,because the Sweds made 2 wonderful albums and they have disbanded!Especially this WINDOW OF HEAVEN is a trully amazing album,VERY ORIGINAL and with a modern touch,even today in 2010,after more than 10 years it sounds so fresh!The changing rhythms,unbeliebeble technical chops,the clever use of keyboards especially and the massive guitar riffs,culminating with a sensational vocalist...capable to sing like an angel and having a ferocious rage in the same track-everything is so catchy and diverse on this album!It was simply too original and badly promoted-thet's why it didn't ger a wider recognition!I can copmare WORLD OF SILENCE in terms of originality only with FAITH NO MORE,but into a prog metal diresction!!I repeat...ORIGINALITY -is the main word to describe this album!It's power prog metal with massive guitar riffs-modern and agressive keyboard interventions and perfect double pedal drumming parts,combined with an unique feeling and a very ORIGINAL musical direction!The following MINDSCAPES-is far from being a bad album but it's 3 classes under this stunning debut WONDOW OF HEAVEN!The title track is a fabulous instrumental-one of the most sensitive and amazing compositions I've ever heared!!!Other highlights od the album-MIRROR OF CONTEMPT,POINT OF NO RETURN and DREAMWEAVER-but all are EXCELLENT!!!!5 STARS for a forgotten musical jewel!
