UMUR Himmelfartskommando is a compilation album by Danish death metal act Panzerchrist. The compilation was released in April 2008 by Mighty Music. Himmelfartskommando contains the band´s first two albums: Six Seconds Kill (1996) and Outpost - Fort Europa (1999). In addition to the two full albums there are three unreleased tracks added as bonus. The tracklist is reversed in the sense that the tracks from Outpost - Fort Europa are placed first followed by the tracks from Six Seconds Kill. The bonus tracks are placed in the end.

The music on the compilation is death metal with war lyrics and in the case of the tracks from Outpost - Fort Europa there´s an added epic touch. The first two bonus tracks: Panzer Black and Panzer Grimness, are recorded in 1998 and has a somewhat similar sound to the tracks on Outpost - Fort Europa, which means death metal with atmospheric and epic keyboards. The last bonus track: Himmelfartskommando is recorded back in 1995 and sounds more or less like a noisy demo recording. Half of the song is made up of samples while the rest is noisy and muddy sounding death metal.

Himmelfartskommando is a great purchase as you get two albums for the price of one and even get some additional unreleased tracks too. The compilation is consistent and while the music isn´t the most original material ever heard, it´s solid and brutal. 3.5 stars are deserved.
