"Vaettr started as a metalcore band under the name of Broken Apparitions in October of 2012. after several line-up changes and a change in direction, Jordan, Jacob, Will, and Gavin decided to change their name to Vaettr. Vaettir (plural) are spirits of one of the 9 realms in Norse Mythology called Vanaheim. These spirits are servants to the Vanir Gods, who watch over all the 9 realms and predict coming events."
